Rio

Rio was an amazing movie starring Jesse Eisenberg and Anne Hathaway as the last two blue macaws on earth. It was one of the best movies i've seen in a long time. I give it an A+. It has nothing wrong with it and i think it is ok for all children.

The Plot

When Blu, a domesticated macaw from small-town Minnesota, meets the fiercely independent Jewel, he takes off on an adventure to Rio de Janeiro with this bird of his dreams. The movie is also starring Leslie Mann, Jamie Foxx, Will i Am, Jake T. Austin, George Lopez, Tracy Morgan, Jemaine Clement, Jane Lynch, and Wanda Sykes.

Chris Medina Says He Wasn't Invited To The 'American Idol' Finale

Earlier this season, Chris Medina was a standout contestant on "American Idol." His sob story was perhaps the saddest in "Idol" history, and it created a huge amount of buzz for the series as it launched its all-important first post-Simon Cowell season. But now it seems that "Idol" producers have already forgotten about Chris, even though his story was clearly manipulated to full effect to generate ratings. According to Chris's tweets, he has not been invited to appear at the "Idol" finale next week, not even as an audience member.
For those of you who don't recall, Chris auditioned in Milwaukee, where he told the judges his horrific backstory about how he has been a caretaker for his fiancée, Juliana Ramos, since she suffered a traumatic brain injury in a 2009 car accident. Juliana even attended Chris's audition, and Steven Tyler wept as she was wheeled into the audition room. Viewers at home wept as well, no doubt.
Later, when Chris shockingly didn't make the top 24, it was Jennifer Lopez's time to cry, as she emotionally delivered the bad news. But it wasn't all bad news for Chris back then, as Interscope's Jimmy Iovine decided to put out a Chris single anyway. "What Are Words," a ballad penned by "Idol"-associated producer Rodney Jerkins, and inspired by Chris and Juliana's real-life tragic love story, was rushed onto iTunes the day after his elimination episode aired, before any of the top 24 had even competed.
But this week, only a couple months after all that fanfare, Chris tweeted: "Just found out I will not be at the finale for #AmericanIdol sad and disappointed." When one of his followers tweeted back inquiring why, Chris replied, "not asked. Then I asked for tickets and I [was] told they can't. No harsh feelings #AmericanIdol"
Obviously Chris and Juliana have suffered setbacks far greater than this one, so I am sure they'll get over this apparent snub. But still, this seems rather rude, if you ask me. "Idol" viewers may have differing opinions as to whether Chris deserved to be in the top 24, but his dramatic audition and equally dramatic elimination were a major part of the "Idol" story arc this season, so it seems strange that producers wouldn't invite him to participate in the finale in some way.
Yes, "Idol" has done a lot for Chris already--few top 40 contestants ever get the opportunity to put out their own single on a major label--but not giving him a couple of tickets still seems a little cold.

'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2' Trailer Reveals Big Spoiler

'Deathly Hallows - Part 2' Warner Bros. Pictures The "Harry Potter" film series has become the most successful movie franchise of all time, with a combined worldwide box-office total of over $6.3 billion worldwide. So it should be no surprise that the eighth and final installment, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2" will be going out with a bang. But if you pay close attention to the just-released trailer -- and you haven't read the book -- you could be in for a big shock.
Take a look at the video below, then keep reading to see what giant revelation is given away.
SPOILER WARNING: if you haven't read the book and don't want to know what happens, don't scroll down past the video player.

When the filmmakers decided to divide "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" -- the final installment in J.K. Rowling's phenomenal series -- into two movies, they made a conscious choice to not to just split it down the middle. They wanted to craft separate films where each had its own style and tone. "Part 1," which hit theaters in November of 2010, was fundamentally a road movie with Harry, Hermoine and Ron on a quest out in the world. "Part 2," on the other hand, will be an all-out action flick, as Lord Voldemort leads his Death Eaters in an assault on Hogwarts with the fate of the world at stake.
By the looks of the trailer, the movie is going to be epic indeed. It's got dragons, knights, snakes, plumes of fire, collapsing bridges, and, of course, massive armies of battling wizards. But there are also shots of some of the pain and heartbreak in the final chapter as well. As readers of the novel know, beloved characters -- even some who have been part of the story since the very beginning -- do not survive the massive battle. And if you're quick enough to catch it, you can see one in the preview.
Julie Walters and Rupert Grint At the 1:02 mark, there is a shot of Ron Weasley (played by Rupert Grint) and his mother Molly (Julie Walters) in tears. They are huddled over a fallen body, and upon close inspection you can tell that it is Ron's brother Fred (James Phelps), one half of the Weasley twins.
In the book, Fred and his other brother Percy are defending Hogwarts from Death Eaters invading through secret passageways. There is an explosion, and Fred's body is later discovered in the rubble. It's a devastating loss, both because Fred is only 20 years old, but also because of the impact it has on his twin brother George.
Certainly, this doesn't come as a surprise to readers of the novel, and there are plenty of those. "Deathly Hallows" broke sales records when it hit shelves in 2007, selling eight million copies in the U.S. in just the first 24 hours. It's gone on to sell over 400 million copies worldwide. Still, there are plenty of fans of the movie series who have read a single one of the books.
But even for the most ardent fans of the book, there should still be some surprises in the last movie. The biggest may be in the very last scene, which takes place 20 years later. Originally, the last scene was shot on location at King's Cross station in London, and some paparazzi photos did catch the cast made up to look decades older. But Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson confirmed to HitFix last November that they were going back to shoot more footage for the film's epilogue.

Disney/Pixar's 'Monsters University' Coming in 2013

In 2001, Disney/Pixar's "Monsters, Inc." showed kids around the world who the scary beasts in their closets really are -- just a bunch of guys doing their job by making children scream.  And in 2013, monstrous pals James "Sully" Sullivan (voiced by John Goodman) and Mike Wazowski (voiced by Billy Crystal) will be headed back to theaters in "Monsters University."  But this one will be set back in their college days, before they became the best of friends.
Take a look at the reveal of the official synopsis for the movie, plus get a first look at the logo.  "Monsters University" will open on June 21, 2013.

Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn't stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.

Screaming with laughter and fun, “Monsters University” is directed by Dan Scanlon (“Cars,” “Mater and the Ghostlight,” “Tracy”) and produced by Kori Rae (“Up,” “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc.”). The film opens in U.S. theaters on June 21, 2013, and will be shown in Disney Digital 3D™ in select theaters.

Story photo: Miranda Lambert Weds Blake Shelton! It's official: Miranda Lambert is a married woman!
The 27-year-old "House That Built Me" singer wed longtime love Blake Shelton late Saturday evening at Texas' Don Strange Ranch, the couple confirms to Us Weekly exclusively.
Wearing her mother's wedding dress, Lambert walked down the aisle in front of 550 family members and friends (including Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson, Martina McBride, Dierks Bentley, Charles Kelly and the Bellamy Brothers).
"I'm married to my best friend!" Lambert told Us after the ceremony. "Looking forward to a lifetime of laughter."
Added Shelton, 34: "I wanted to be married to Miranda the day I proposed. Finally, it's official!"
Dating since 2006, The Voice mentor asked for Lambert's hand in marriage last May. "I fumbled it up a little," he told Us of the proposal. "It's funny how you rehearse those things and go over what you want to say, but I probably screwed it up."
Fortunately, Lambert didn't seem to notice. "He did a really good job," she insisted. "He's always nervous around me, though -- and that's how I like it!"
This is the first marriage for Lambert; Shelton was married to Kaynette Williams from 2003-2006.

Scotty McCreery Surprised By Josh Turner At Homecoming Concert

Scotty McCreery (screengrab courtesy WRAL via YouTube)

Top 3 "American Idol" finalist Scotty McCreery first made an impression auditioning with, and then repeatedly singing, "Your Man" by Josh Turner, aka the "baby lock them doors and turn them lights down low" song. As Scotty's "Idol" star has soared, his audition song choice has turned out to be the best publicity Josh could ask for. So when Scotty returned to his hometown of Garner, North Carolina, this weekend for his big homecoming event (an "Idol" top 3 tradition), Josh repaid the favor by bumrushing the stage during Scotty's welcome-home concert, giving Scotty the surprise of his life.
Scotty had started to sing "Your Man"--his first time performing it with a band--when Josh appeared unannounced onstage. When Scotty turned around he sort of experienced a delayed reaction, at first reaching out to grasp Josh's shoulder, before suddenly realizing just who he was sharing the stage with.
Josh's band then came out to complete the song as a Josh/Scotty duet. Seventeen-year-old Scotty could barely contain his boyish excitement over getting to sing with his idol, yet still performed like an old pro and held his own.
"Thanks for singing my songs," said Josh, to which Scotty answered, "Thank you for singing them first!" The duo then performed another Josh song Scotty once sang on "American Idol" (during Hollywood Week), "Long Black Train," with both guys playing guitar.
"It's good to see someone waving the country music flag out there in Hollywood," said a torch-passing Josh, as what appeared to be the entire population of Garner cheered. It seems pretty obvious who Josh will be voting for next Wednesday night.

Gulliver's Travels

Gulliver's Travels Poster
The Plot is: Lemuel Gulliver has been working in the mail room of a New York daily newspaper for the past ten years. Afraid to put himself out there, he considers himself a loser, as do all his peers. One day, after having finally had enough, he decides to declare his flame to the beautiful Darcy Silverman, the newspaper's travel editor and one of Gulliver's only friends...only to chicken out at the last minute and instead tell her that he'd like to try his hand at writing a column. Darcy accepts and sends him on an assignment to the Bermuda Triangle. There, Gulliver becomes shipwrecked and ends up on the island of Liliput, where he is twelve taller than the tallest man. For the first time, Gulliver has people looking up to him... I give it a C-. The humor was rude and there was bad language in the movie. This movie has an allstar cast of Jack Black, Jason Segel, Emily Blunt, Amanda Peet, and T.J. Miller.
