Men In Black

Image DetailWho's Ready too go back in time? Too 1969? Yes after 10 years MIB is back in black and in time. Agent J travels in time to MIB's early years in the 1960s, to stop an alien from assassinating his friend Agent K and changing history. Starring Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, and Emma Thompson. But lets go back too the first MIB and second MIIB. In the first Men in Black follows exploits of agents Kay and Jay, members of a top-secret organization established to monitor and police alien activity on Earth. The two Men in Black find themselves in the middle of the deadly plot by an intergalactic terrorist who has arrived on Earth to assassinate two ambassadors from opposing galaxies. In order to prevent worlds from colliding, the MiB must track down the terrorist and prevent the destruction of Earth. It's just another typical day for the Men in Black. And in the second movie Men In Black For Agent J, it is another day at the office, monitoring, licensing and policing all alien activity on Earth. One day, J receives a report of an unauthorized landing of an alien spacecraft near New York. It is an old enemy of MIB, a Kylothian named Surleena. Who is searching for a powerful artifact called The Light of Zartha. J investigates and quickly realizes he is going to need help. Unfortunately, the other MIB agents do not work up to par like J can. So, J decides to bring back K. J must bring back K's memory as an MIB agent and try to stop Surleena, before she can succeed.

The Hunger Games

Image Detail

The Hunger Games is based on the world-wide bestselling series by Suzanne Collins and now the unsurpassed movie directed by Gary Ross. The movie is about a dystopian future, the totalitarian nation of Panem is divided between 12 districts and the Capitol. Each year two young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games. Part entertainment, part brutal retribution for a past rebellion, the televised games are broadcast throughout Panem. The 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors while the citizens of Panem are required to watch. When 16-year-old Katniss's young sister, Prim, is selected as District 12's female representative, Katniss volunteers to take her place. She and her male counterpart Peeta, are pitted against bigger, stronger representatives who have trained for this their whole lives. The movie has an allstar cast of Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, and Wes Bentley. The series consistists of three books The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay. It is ok for 14+ and I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

War Horse

War Horse was a great movie about young Albert who enlists to serve in WWI after his beloved horse, Joey, is sold to the cavalry. Albert's hopeful journey takes him out of England and across Europe as the war rages on. It's rated PG-13 for intense sequences of war violence but it is an amazing movie for children 11 and up. It's now in theaters but is expected to release on DVD in April or May.

The Twilight Saga:Breaking Dawn Part 1

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1

Image DetailSpecial Edition
Available February 11th

Breaking Dawn was a great movie but it is rated  PG-13 for disturbing images, violence, sexuality/partial nudity and some thematic elements but the rating really tells it all. As you can see it is available February 11th on DVD and bluray. I recommend it over 13 years of age. It has a cast of Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Robert Pattinson.
